Yr.no is performing scream tests when it comes to the old meteograms. They remove it a few hours and then they come back again.
In the widget there is support for the old version metegorams and the new versions. In Options select "New Look" to see them.
As I personally like the old meteograms better I will try to keep support of them in the widget as long has YR has them on their website.
The current version lacks some functionality compared to the one that worked for the last 10 years. The changes due to how later version of android works with stricter privacy, no background updates or background position updates.
Blurb about the widget
Tired of all the conventional weather widgets that show a little sun a little clouds and temperature.
Here is Widget that shows a meteogram instead. Much easier to see if there will be rain in the afternoon.
The Widget show the Meteogram from the yr.no website from the place nearest to your location.
It updates weather every third hour, this can be changed to shorter or longer interval.
There is also an Application for those who do not want to run it as a widget.
You can bookmark your current location.
Auto update position option. Every time the widget updates (every 3 hours) it checks the location and show the widget for the current position (if option checked, off by default).
When a new forecast cannot be downloaded a reload button is shown.
The app does not have any ads/tracking/in-app purchases etc it is free:-). If you like it give it a nice review:-)
I wrote this app nearly 10 years ago because I wanted the functionality.
This application has no affiliation with Yr, NRK or Norwegian Meteorological institute
